What is a Nefertiti Neck Lift?

This procedure was named after the Egyptian Queen Nefertiti, one of the most famous women and an icon of feminine beauty. Known for her elongated, thin neck, and a bone structure which continues to be admired in modern times.

A safe non-surgical approach to rejuvenation which uses small amounts of botulinum toxin type A which are carefully injected into the target muscles, of the jawline and the platysma bands which pull the lower face downwards. Specifically, the muscles that run vertically from the bottom of the face to the collarbone.

Botulinum toxin is a protein produced by the bacterium, which blocks electrical impulses which initiate contraction of the facial muscles. Injecting the toxin into the muscles will temporarily block signals from your nervous system that tell certain muscles to move. When your neck muscles are relaxed, thus no longer pulling your features downwards, the muscles on the upper part of the face are more lifted, helping to define the jawline.
